In the first quarter of 2023, the top 5 news and magazines applications on the Android platform in Qatar showed varied performance in terms of downloads and active users. Here’s a closer look at their metrics:

All Jobs Portal - 2022 by Ujugu Tech experienced fluctuations in weekly downloads. Starting with 1.2K downloads in the final week of December, the app saw a slight increase to 1.3K in mid-January, but then dropped sharply to 491 in the week of January 23. The quarter ended with a notable decrease, reaching just 148 downloads in mid-February.

Opera News: breaking & local from Opera showed a steady presence in the market. Weekly downloads reached a peak of 466 in mid-February before gradually declining to 199 by the end of March. Active users for the app started at around 2K and saw a consistent upward trend, peaking at over 2.6K in late January, then stabilizing around 2.2K towards the end of the quarter.

The app maintained a strong user base, with active users starting at 73.5K and experiencing slight dips and rises, ending the quarter at approximately 66.3K.
